The 6 kingdoms are
archaebacteria- single cell that lacks nuclei and is found in harsh environments.
eubacteria- single cell and reproduces diving in half and incredible common.
Fungi- cells walls act like miniature skeletons that allow fungi to stand upright. Absorb their food through their body's surface.
Protist- a diverse group of organisms that belong to the kingdom Protista, most of them have many cells and live in water.
Plants- have many cells, and make their own food by photosynthesis. their roots taps in the underground resources and leaves intercept sunlight along with gases in the air. Kitchen Gardens consist of herbs, vegetables, fruits, and edible flowers. And when focusing on vegetables and herbs they require a lot of sun.
Herbs for me would be the highlight of the garden, because we can make it smell really good and earthy. Generally, you need about one inch of water per week. They are some herbs that grow annually which are:
Basil
Dill
Summer Savory
Fall Herbs:
Oregano
Chives
Parsely
Vegetables that grow in the fall produce their best flavor when they mature during cool weather. Some of the leafy vegatables benefit from application of nitrogen 3 and 6 weeks after planting. We don’t have to be worry about weed control because they grow slower in Fall.
Fall Vegetables:
Kale
Lettuce
Spinach
Turnips
Broccoli
Mustard
Arugula
There are also some very good fruits that grow and flourish in the fall. Fruits like vegetables require an inch of water per week.
Rasberry
Strawberry
